Free education for Ukrainian refugees in some US universities

Some US universities have decided to open free educational programs for Ukrainian refugees who want to get higher education. These programs provide scholarships and assistance in finding housing.

The University of Pennsylvania, located in Philadelphia is one of the oldest and most respected private universities in the United States. Fellowships will provide tuition-free access to University of Pennsylvania courses and programs (granting non-degree course credit, where applicable), a living stipend, health insurance, and support for visa application.

The program welcomes students with disciplinary focuses in anthropology, art history, demography, environmental studies, film studies, history, international business studies, international relations, energy policy, Jewish studies, comparative literature and literary theory, literary and cultural history, medieval studies, political science, and sociology.

The university has not set a deadline for applying, but the number of scholarships is limited, so it is better to apply as soon as possible. The annual fellowship application and CV should be sent to Program Director Kevin M. F. Platt. Contacts of the program director Kevin F.
